Description This is a unfinished Dragon animation i did for the PS3 Video Game "Lair". I wish i still had the file to make changes and finish it off -- but regardless I think it's fun to look at. Animated with Maya - no reference. Click on the link below:

It's a shame you don't have the original file I would love to have the original dragon model. From what I've heard the game is very hard to get models from.

Very nice. If only the rest of the game was as polished as your animation.

Holy cow. There's something very wonderful about being able to see the 'behind the scenes' WIP of an amazing clip - as it happens, this was my favorite moment in the entire trailer. I can't even begin to say how smooth and lifelike it is; if ever a dragon existed, that's how it'd move.

*GUSHES* Fantastic, especially how the dragon keeps its head turned to make sure the people it just set on fire are dead. You're one heck of an animator.

Thanks - thanks! I'm glad you like the dragon animation! This is an earlier version of that dragon trailer moment -- before Sony went in and started changing things - taking the weight and mass out of the dragons
Ahh well - it's all good

Wow, that was amazing! I'm no animator but that dragon moved with much fluidity and the weight of the creature can really be seen when it crashes into the scene!

The movement of the wings as it regained its balance after its "pounce" is a very nice touch incredible piece of dynamic animation!

Awesome work. I'm totally worthless when it comes to animating anything, so this sort of stuff really awes me Great fluid movement.
