I wouldn't even notice.  I've lost the feeling in half my fingers due to two different accidents over a year's time.  At least this would be a more interesting story.

I have lost the feeling in one of my fingers because of an accident with a 3 ton press.
It is still working and all that kind of stuff just got no feelings in it any more.

Yeah.......I am a medical miracle.XD
The doctors also said that i never could use that finger again properly.
But I showed them otherwise .just by training and using the finger whenever I could.
It is know operating like a normal finger,but without the feeling that is.

I broke my right wrist about 1 1/2 years ago and had a plate put in and carpal tunnel surgery to repair damage and was told the feeling would come back.  Never has and it affects three fingers.  Then this spring I tried cutting two fingers off my left hand with hedge clippers.  Got stitches in each and the fingers above the cuts are still numb.  UUUrrrrrrrggg!!!

Exacctly!!!!  He said it might take up to a year for the fingers of my broken wrist but it is now 1 1/2 years and no change.  I gave up going to him and decided I would just have to live with it.  After I got stitches in my left hand and the numbness didn't go away, I didn't even bother to follow up.

Last time I visit a doctor with some serious complains...........they did a complete check-up and said that they couldn't find anything.
A few days later my appendix was removed.
