Glad you like this one. I took most of my forest photographs from Germany in the forest this path leads to. I think it is a beech, I suppose the shape and bark texture is like this due to their close proximity to the baltic sea, since the coast is immediately to the left of this tree. But I don't have a lot of knowledge about botany, so I wouldn't take my word, hehe.

Cool it's a great texture I'm definitely going to try and incorporate it into my illustrations, The sea does some interesting things to trees that's for sure I live on an island and last week ran into a rooted tree on the beach that's branches were covered in barnacles, like arms of bristling teeth!
