A sketch of my mate Stuart. Looks quite wierd because of the angle his face was at in the photo. But almost got his likeness spot on.Check out how this sketch looked in its first stage in my scraps! [link]

you should try to move away from drawing from photos whenever possible, i try not to, unless just to see a pose easier, also when your doing a drawing like this you should use your finger to smudge the pencil in a lil bit, it'll make it all a lot smoother and look less sketchy

Well done. It reminds me of once when I was slugged and the mugger looked over me while his partners rifled my pockets. Just a hint of compassion in a rugged street weary face.
