A bit late, but here is my 2nd pic for ~kawaiidebu 's one sketch a day challenge thing.What, a normal looking guy? No wai!!! And in a semi-realistically/comic-book/no-anime style!
Yay, DA have a category for Sword & Scorcery! ... whatever that means.
Yeah. Something to look while I work on the serious stuff.
BTW, this is one character I'm playing. An armor clad knight, challenging denizens from the darkness to combat. I have some friends that may recognize him.
His name is Sir Richter (no, he doesn't carry a whip).

You miss nothing. ALL THE REST of the settings are better. ALL OF THEM. Even Dark Sun. Even that weird... um... future Greyhawk in the year 3000.. O_O And the books.... there is a mage called Raistlin that is, like, the only one that could be saved from there. The rest are so UNinteresting O_o

Nicely done and good detail for a sketch piece! I like it.

Interesting... legs look a little short though, but it's not really a problem. Also, the way the tabard goes over the front of the armor makes him look sort of like he's got breasts.
But it's still a really good picture.

Well, he has a square-ish face, but you can't see much of the body. The armor is very neutral looking.

Yup. Looks like a swordsman to me.
Thing is, his armor looks a little loose. Probably how his cape and tunic drape off the steel plating. I was under the impression that someone had drained his strength, and he was trying hard to not show the fear.

Thanks. Hmm... I just tried to make the armor look more like a large suit instead of skin tight clothes. He's not a very big guy, but he's strong enough to move under a couple dozens lbs of iron.
