Description
Arthur used Scottish!It's super affective!
Explanation:
American slang: Bum = Homeless person
British slang: Bum = backside/butt/ass
Arthur is saying in Scottish: Shut up and hold your mouth or I will slap you ear, you (very) stupid kid
Why doe Arthur talks Scottish?
1) He's the bloody United Kingdom! You don't know him! Scotland is part of the U.K so he speaks Scottish.
2) England doesn't want that his brother speaks a language he doesn't speak.

I only needto swear in it. Then I have 8 languages I can swear and/or call names in.
I do speak a little German. I can't write it down very well, but understanding it is easy. I learn German, French and English at school and Dutch is my mothertongue.

LUCKY!!! I don't want to learn German and French, but I have to. Really.. For some stupid reason everyone here has to learn French and German for at least 2 years (French even 3) and English 4 to 6 (It depends on wich level you are) English is not that bad, but if you don't have any feeling for languages French and German are killing.

We used to have French, but I think that was taken away around '09. I'd rather learn German over Spanish. I mean half my family is already speaking the correct Spanish I would need anyways. We only need two years of foreign language to graduate, so that's helpful. But wait, what do you meaning by 4-6 in English? o.o

years I had 2,5 years of English now and I need to do 3,5 more. You have 3 different levels on Dutch schools. Lowest level is done in 4 years. The middel level is done in 5 years and the highest level (mine) is done in 6 years.

you are off. Dutch schooling:
1) from 4 years old till 12 years old(8 years) primary school.
2) -Mavo, lowest level, time 4 years.
-Havo, middel level, time 5 years.
-VWO, highest level, time 6 years.
You do one of the three. (There is a lot of complication about changing levels, but I wont make it more complicated)

If you ever do another one like this again, you should totally do it with Cockney Rhyme Slang ( I think that's what it's called). Anyways, I love how cute and funny this is. It totally made my day. X3

That's not fair, America can only tap into his Scottish heritage when he's blackout drunk.
But he can speak Cajun sober!

I don't know what Cajun is. If it is something well known I have an exuse! I'm Dutch. I saw a T-shirt once about the English language when you're drunk. It ended with: 6 pints: You can't talk English anymore (neither your own language), 7 pints: You talk Amircan-English. I laughed too hard XD

Hup Holland Hup!
LOL, yes, Engish is a strange language and with 8 pints you speak Scottish.
Yeah, Cajun's not very well known outside of America, as a people or a language. Even people here in America have some weird preconceptions about us. Mostly we're known for speaking a different language and for having the closest thing to good cultural cuisine in the states.
Cajun is a form of French that is usually blended with English. It originated in Acadia (part of which is now Nova Scotia in Canada) but when the British took over in the seven years war (French Indian War) they eventually told the Acadians to get the hell out since they were causing so many problems. Some of them went to Louisiana just before the Revolution and settled there. But when Napoleon sold Louisiana they decided they were tired of being kicked out of everywhere they went and just stayed there. These days Cajun's are regarded much like hermits, swamp people, and mostly uneducated fishermen which is not entirely false.
That said if you want to see someone being confused by a Cajun accent go to youtube and look up "Cajun onstar".

Well uhm.. We have the Frisians??? And a lot of Dutch accents I can't understand. How sad is that? Something funny is that English is a official language of the Netherlands together with: Low Saxon, Limburgish (One of the Dutch havy accents I can't understand), Frisian, Dutch and Papiamento. These are all official and English is the only officail language in the U.S.A.

I didn't even know Saxon was still regularly spoken by anyone.
Technically the US has no official language at the federal level (though for US naturalization a person does have to have a working understanding of English since it is the most common). In fact lots of people make a big deal every few years about making English the official language or how if you live in America you should have to speak English but most of us don't care.
But yeah, every place has its differences in languages even within its own base language (like how standard Ancient Greek is the Athenian dialect or how Parisian is the French). But that difference is important to many people because it gives them a sense of individuality culturally or personally.
That, and we like to get our laughs at how stupid the other guy sounds.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I will bake a cake and celebrate.
