Yet another (welcome) addition to my album crossover collection. For an unprecedented third time, I am honoring the Beatles (with Abbey Road being the specific subject); I am also returning to a previously visited topic, Team Fortress 2, in this work.

This piece was made at the request of Badonk, one of my good friends and a fine artist himself. What spurred this commission is uncertain, but I suppose that is of little relevance now that my labors have been completed.

Although I did struggle somewhat in creating this (there were many things which I had to either augment or eliminate, such as John Lennon's coat and the hair of all four Beatles), I nevertheless had quite a bit of fun in doing so; the finished product turned out rather nicely, leaving me very satisfied.

As the Beatles are one of my all-time favorites bands, I expect to return to them again some day soon; I would not be surprised if I eventually utilize every Beatles record, I enjoy them so much. Team Fortress 2 will likely be touched upon once again in a future (possibly imminent) piece, but we will see; I've quite a few ideas on my slate at the moment.

Team Fortress 2 is the creation of Valve Software; any names, places, items, or characters associated with it are the property of that company. Abbey Road is the work of the Beatles; as such, it belongs to the members of that group as well as their record label, Apple Corps. The idea of juxtaposing the two is my sole invention.
