Description
As I was kicking myself for not taking more advantage of the brief period of sunlight, I noticed some strange cloud formations moving rather fast toward me.I wasn't sure if I should sprint back to the car...I stayed to get some shots
I felt a mix of awe and anxiety. I didn't see any signs of tornadoes, but it was sure the type of storm that could spawn one.

Thanks. It was a very weird day. I'm glad I could capture even a small part of it.

Very nice capture, looks like a forward flank downdraft or a wall cloud. You are right, tornadoes are possible in these type of storms.

Thank you. It was a very fast moving wall cloud. I shot some low-res video and it was odd to see a cloud moving down the road at me. It seemed like something from a disaster movie.

Because of the topography, we really don't see things like this in my area. Or, if we do, it isn't very often (and I just missed it up until now )

Wow, excellent shot. Definitely not your average front for the region.
