Description This is part of a series that I am working on right now.

Trying to make it look as real as possible with the integration of man and machine.

I didnt intend this piece to turn out so 'dark' but I prefer the word creative anyways when describing a piece.

Let me know what you think.

I've always been interested and fascinated by the man-machine connubium and this is a great representation. not too weird, not too gory. just plain fusion.

awesomeness.

i think though, that the hole in his neck with the wires coming out it too big.

yeah the hole in the neck and the right side blending of the tubes are the parts I wish I could re-do. I dont think I have the raw files anymore though. too bad. I'd love to put some more work into it .

really it took me like 9 hours straight through. Might seem high , but it was back when I was still figuring out how to do proper photomanips.

thanks for the comment.

yeah it is. I haven't done a photomanip in quite some time, but after those kind of hours put in, you don't really forget what you're doing.

Excellent concept and compostion. I think this image could do with a background. Something blurred to put it inside a dimensional space

this is a great image, really inventive amazing idea, amazing workmanship, the lower ring in the middle of his back is the best element of this image the only weakness if any is that the top ring just doesnt blend right, mayb its just that the lower ring has been done so well it makes the one above look average, but its still a great shot

Wow. I really like this one. I think the "darkness" of the picture actually makes it better. Wonderful job!

It's actually cool that it is this dark since it makes it more emotional, it makes the integration of man and machine seem like a bad thing, and this is communicated just so clearly that the viewer has to concentrate a little, and thus enjoy it even more!

interesting piece. i really like the lower circle where the one tube enters. it is very well done. the upper circle looks a little less encorporated. i think if it were more flush with his skin it would look a little better. on the whole, it is very well done though and a good representation of that theme...

very cool work here. i love how loose the hoses are coming out of his neck, leaving this gaping hole. my only problem is the collar on said hole is a little too white, contrasting sharply with the rusty fixture in his back.
