Pengu And The Dragon Of Fire

The battle of Magmalar was echoing across the realms of the Fire Islands, and Kumandra could feel it too. Team Kumandra were battling against the Druun Army and the Fire Dragon groups who serve Braco, and they would no longer be alone. As Amba and her group clan overpower some Druuns, she looks up and is beyond relieved to see the true invasion incoming.

''Amba: (notices the Kumandran Water Dragons invading Magmalar) Guys look! The Dragons from all sides of Kumandra have arrived!''

''Tong: About the greatest time they showed up! The true war has begun.''

The Team looked up the burning sky to see all the Kumandran Dragons flying and killing the Druuns from all sides, joining their side to stop the dooming fate of their Dragon Empire. The true war has been ignited, Team Kumandra with their aligned forces from all Kumandra rain down their vengeance and resistance against Braco's Dark Armies, and Braco himself could feel it too. The Great Warlord looked at Magmalar and looks in despair and rage, realizing the prophecy he sought to vanquish away is inevitably nearing. But Braco refuses to give up, because he has a even greater weapon on his side, or rather, a greater nightmare awaiting to devour souls.

The distraught Braco ran down to the dungeons and enters a dark chamber. From there, he started talking to something else hiding in the dark void as chains whatever thing contains it rattle right underneath him. Braco would continue to discuss his words of pure evil until a demonic growl consumed the dark atmosphere in the chamber. Then a pair pointy purple eyes appear, hover above Braco as it rose higher and higher. The chains move up alongside to whatever thing is waking up after centuries of dormancy sleeping under the crusts of Fire Mountains. As the thing rose to it's full height, Braco releases the chains free, and the thing reveals it's full monstrous form continuing bellowing. The father of all Druuns and the first of them all, The Amalgamator. Oni of the Druuns and the great eater of peace. Sprouting tentacles from it's skull jaws and back as putrid faces of other Druuns he'd absorbed light up it's whole massive body. Amalgamator comes into command of Braco and rises up from the chambers, busting free into the outside world that was felt across all of Magmalar.

Outside, the Druuns stopped fighting, because they can feel their godfather waking up from dormancy and the Amalgamator shows itself for the first time after 5 and beyond centuries. The Amalgamator erupts from the rocky grounds, letting out a roar that could only be described as nightmare fuel. Following the roar, the Amalgamator moves his gigantic legs and tentacled arms, destroying everything that stood against it's way, and the Kumandran Army are inexplicably stuck in a decline.

''Jagan: Wha- what... in the lovely Dragon mother's name is that thing?''

''Rohuengan: ... Amalgamator.''

''Pengu: ... A what?''

''Rohuengan: Amalgamator. The Godfather of the Druuns, the first of them all and the great Eater of peace. The ancient demon who's many and the metaphor of evil itself. And to make matters more worse, he works with Braco... under his command at least. With that thing on the loose and track us down our souls, our progress will become treacherous, not even our greater Army is enough against it.''

''Raya: ... Great.''

''Sisu: If our Dragon Army isn't enough to stop that devil's child, then what else can? A higher power?''

''Jagan: Sound more definite to me honestly.''

''Rohuengan: ... There's only one way alone to make the Amalgamator surrender to good. (looks to Pengu) Pengu, our leader of destiny... what should be our way out to defeat this threat?''

''Pengu: ... (thinks deeply) ... I've never come to realize a threat like this, and never this bigger. But since what i've learned in myself, and from you guys hearts, i can forever guarantee a way out. To destroy the Amalgamator, we must continue on despite that beast chasing us. Our destiny is to banish Braco from the very existence of Kumandra, and in our beliefs, that would be the end of the Dark Regime he has created, including Amalgamator's.''

''Rohuengan: I accept, master. Team, we continue our split. And group B, i have a special task. Go to any prison somewhere in Magmalar, and free all the Fire Dragons that are imprisoned, and our forces will become more potent.''

''Namaari: I've been thinking that very same plan since day one, and we all know it sir.''

''Rohuengan: Good, now let's move out! We have no time to waste before it nears it's ending point.''

''Team Kumandra: Yes General!''

After ordering the plan, the Team split up and continue the offensive despite the giant kaiju-sized demon tracking their souls to exterminate them. On the other hand, the Group B move to a large prison complex. As according to Rohuengan and Pengu, it is the place where all the Fire Dragons including the Island's peoples are stripped from their freedoms in their impure captivity who resisted the control of Braco. The Group B sneak to the entrance of the jail where the Druun guards stand before the doors. As the Group B hide, Pranee has a very clever plan up her sleeves.

''Boun: How are we supposed to get there now?''

''Pranee: Don't speak too soon, i've been known for one thing other then ultra-experienced ninja skills. (shape-shifts into a bunny)''

''Group B: (flabbergasted)''

''Amba: Never knew in my life my sister could turn into a adorable little bunny.''

Pranee is a ultra-experienced Dragoness with skills to that of a Kung Fu warrior and Ninja, but that never distanced her from being a master of shapeshifting. When turned into a small cute little bunny, Pranee hopped to the entrance to distract the Druun Guards with some cuteness overload, and the plan went very well.

''Druun Guard: Aawww it's cute.''

''Pranee: (changes back) Cute?''

''Druun Guards: Oh oh- (get heavily beaten and abused - get encased in barrels) Cute now huh? (smiles)''

''Group B: The coast is clear guys, come.''

''Amba: Man... really gave them a beating.''

Pranee busts the doors open and the Group B enter the large prison fortress. They venture deep into the prison and are shocked to witness the lives entrapped out there. The large prison chamber was filled with hundreds, thousands, if not a hundred thousand of Fire Dragons and humans who were stripped away from their freedoms and abused by the Druuns, some even held in tiny spaces like caged animals, and some have suffered the worst ever executions. In the eyes of our heroes, this was the real concentration camp of occupied Magmalar and their hearts sank to those trapped lives. But they wasted no time to free any single captives out there and they make their moves as soon as possible before other Druuns could get to them. Tong opens the closed gates with his mighty axe and the Group makes contact with the prisoners. Pranee went out alone to free the rest of the lives held in smaller cells, and she hears her group cheering the trapped ones who are now feeling freedom for the first time.

''Tong: You want vengeance, then step to the light and FIGHT!''

''Trapped Ones: (sheer in victory and go to war)''

Pranee opened every cells to liberate the Fire Dragons and there was just one last left. She goes to the last cell and sees a Fire Dragon laying on the corner of the cell. Pranee opens the gate and tells the Fire Dragon to grant the freedom he deserves. However, something odd came out of the mortally trapped Fire Dragon's mouth as he makes his wounded appearance known.

''Pranee: Sir, the gates have opened for you to step your feet to the lights of hope.''

''Trapped Fire Dragon: ... I don't have a freedom.''

''Pranee: ... Excuse me? You don't have freedom? These gates that encased you for so long have crumbled and you will emerge victorious if-''

''Trapped Fire Dragon: It's gone okay... Leave me be...''

''Pranee: ... (went ahead to take a closer look) My goodness lovely Naga gracious... you look... horrible.''

''Trapped Fire Dragon: (reveals himself ''Luke'') ... Beyond horrible. It's too late to save me now, Water Dragon.''

''Pranee: ... No, it's never too late poor soul. The others of yours have gone to liberate their home kingdom from this hell Braco has placed. And if you don't get yourself out of here... you will find no hope. You know that.''

''Luke: ... I won't mind it too much... i just want to find out if my loved ones that i love more then anything are still alive. (goes back to the dark corner)''

The mortally and spiritually wounded Fire Dragon, who's name is clear as ''Luke'' looked miserable beyond Pranee's shocked eyes. His bruised right eye, his scars and mangled look said a thousand words, he was hurt, probably more then hurt. She felt pain in Luke unlike anything she ever felt and Pranee attempted to get him out of this darkening place. But Luke was too out of bounds of hope, and refused to take a step to the light. Instead, he went back to the dark corner as the strapped chains tight on him. Pranee shares a few words that may help some assurances and way to hope.

''Pranee: I understand how it feels like to lose everything. I lost my parents during the Dragon War centuries prior, and yet despite all that... i continued on my life more stronger then ever. It happens because it served me, and it all guided me to hope. That's why hope is so infinite... and it's the thing we believe and fight for when all else is lost. ... Do you now elaborate?''

''Luke: ... I- i wish to put myself in this path... but it's all too gone. And all i could do... is just sit here, wait for the death to take me. I am sorry.''

Pranee: ... (gives up and leaves) All your choices...''

What felt like a little while trying to free Luke from his hardships, which ended in a bad ending, Pranee had no other way but to leave the wounded Fire Dragon on his own to choose his fate. Soul sunken, Pranee leaves the prison chamber, leaving Luke in complete loneliness in a silent area. Luke looks turns his head to the opened gates, and is now deeply trapped in himself whether or not he should find hope or wait for death to take him.

Outside, the Group B placed a barrage of bombs across the Prison fortress as the Druun Colony approached the place. All the Fire Dragons and Magmalar's humans have been liberated, fighting Braco's forces at Kumandra's side. Group B rush outside to escape the timer before Pranee reunites with them. They take cover behind the wall as the Druun Colony raid the prison fortress, and finally, the massive explosions detonate, taking the entire Druun Colony within it. As the black smokes settle, the Group celebrate in victory, except one.

''Boun: Woo-hoo! Now that's what i'm calling the EXPLOSIVE achievement! Huh Pranee?''

''Pranee: (looks sad)''

''Amba: Sister? Is there something?''

''Pranee: ... We've failed an innocent live to the death.''

''Group B: (silent shock)''

''Boun: Oh no i refuse that. But if so, then i'll wish him the peace above the heavens and may he be reunited with his loved ones.''

''Pranee: Yeah... At least he found peace. But hey, there's no time to trash away. We are going to the Fire Mountain over there, and maybe we'll be reunited with the rest of our Team out there.''

The Group B ran to their destined point and the leftovers of the Prison fortress lay in ruins. But when all else seems quiet, a Dragon hand bursts out the ashes and it emerges from the destruction. Indeed, the Fire Dragon Luke, somehow still alive and unscathed by the massive explosion comes out of the debris after eventually choosing life over hope, and he is very angry and vengeful.
