Description Aaaand, in a burst of creative energy...

Just save the file or somesuch and zoom in to see what exactly is different in each one.

Made in .FSH editor, MSPaint, and Photoshop v. 7.0. These versions of the port are copyright to me, please don't reuse. Also, some things that were the way they were earlier on in the port might've changed...I was revising almost constantly.

Hope this helps at least a little.

Ok, I get what your saying here, but how to make a port? Like, what shapes do you use to do stuff? Like is there shapes involved. Or just draw?

I personally just draw. Sometimes I do a little bit of a wireframe underneath it all, but the only way to learn how to do that is by studying anatomy independently. That's what I ended up having to do.

I want to be a port artist because I got no digos to give, so I can make my own ports.

Not for ports, no. All I do is sketch it on paper, scan it in, resize and crop in Photoshop, turn into pixelated lineart in MSPaint, save as a 24-bit bitmap, and import it into .FSH editor to color it. :\

err actually, would you POSSIBLY be able to explain the steps more thoroughly to me? Such as 'Click 'File' then "Save As"' ect.? Totally understandable if your not able to.

You...don't really do much of anything with File, Tools, etc.

If you want to know what the remappable gradients are, just click Colors, then select which set of gradients you want. Try to stick to the lighter ones for pretty much everything, because the last three gradients usually remap to the same shade of that color. There's no definition between them.

How do you choose a light source?

You just...determine it. Most of the time my light source is from the upper left, behind the viewer. Doing this helps you choose how to shade everything accordingly.
