Okay, I actually didn't want to upload any more NPCs until the group actually started and went running for a little... but on this one I just COULDN'T resist!

Sandro was my General (meaning Main OC) in our old group Souls-of-Chaos but due to unfortunate circumstances I was barely able to RP him at all OTL I looooove love love my baby though!! So I wanted to move him over to Ether even though it meant stripping him from most of his abilities (in SoC he was the General of Offense for the faction Ares, being able to summon multiple bone dragons and controling units of lich and skeleton warrios... 8D; *toned down a LOT*) I really can't wait to RP him in Ether again though, hoping to give him a fresh new start <3

History:

When Sandro awoke, he dug himself out of a grave in a closed graveyard in the south of Larea Vanya. He had no idea where he was, what had happened or what he was... All he knew was his name, Sandro, and the name of the little bone dragon that lay next to him in the grave, Ishkay. Finding out soon after that the graveyard he had been buried on was the private graveyard of a noble family by the name of Valarell, Sandro learned that 165 years ago a mysterious disease had killed most of the Valarell family, causing their bloodline to die out almost entirely within a few weeks. That's pretty much all the necromancer knows about his past.

Returning into the ruins of the Valarell family's old mansion, the boy used the past months to rebuild the large home, but at the moment he is setting out to discover more about Velandi to fill his mind with new memories as the old ones are lost.

Personality:

Sandro has no memories of his past, resembling a child in an adult body due to his lack of maturity coming from life experience. He is friendly, happy, a little goofy probably,... but he has a good heart.

This sometimes changes rather suddenly though. It is as if a switch is turning in his mind. He can't control himself in that state anymore, going completely berserk, which also means he can't make a difference between friend and foe any longer. He turns into a threat for himself and others in this state, rarely has any memories afterward though, sometimes wondering why he is standing between a bunch of torn apart monsters...

Abilities:

Sandro:

Using his scythe staff for regular battle, Sandro is a skilled fighter, but above all, he is a black magician. He has a few weaker dark spells that cause minor damage, but his actual specialty is necromancy, based on his earth and fire ether. (Ashes to ashes, dust to dust)

He uses his magic to awaken bones around him, creating skeleton beings that attack for him. He can control a maximum of either 3 small creatures, 2 medium creatures or one large creature (size reference: dog – human – elephant). They can't stray far from Sandro and it needs conscious concentration for the necromancer to keep the link up. Meaning, if he is busy fighting himself, the creatures will be clumsy and likely to fall apart if Sandro is too distracted. It also is harder to control the bones of something 'magical' like eg a unicorn than a regular horse. Once the link broke, the necromancer can never form a bond with these bones again as they will fall to ashes immediately.

Ishkay is an exception to this. The little dragon has black bones which means they are able to keep the spell power within them without being destroyed by it. So once Sandro turns Ishkay large, his magic is locked within the dragon and he can't use any kind of magic anymore. Only once Ishkay shrinks again, Sandro is able to cast magic once more.

Ishkay:

The little baby bone dragon has no skills to speak of. When he is turned into his adult form by Sandro, all he has is his physical strength, fangs, claws, wings and claw like tail.

Once in his large form, it doesn't matter how much energy Sandro has left. The size spell works entirely on Ishkay's own strength, meaning once -he- gets tired or hurt too much, he will shrink down even if Sandro is still at full strength.

Status Points:

Sandro's status points are combined with Ishkay's. When Sandro uses his magic to make Ishkay grow, his own magic disappears almost completely until Ish returns to small state, either by running out of energy or effectively turning small with Sandro's help again (which is the only magic Sandro can cast in this state.) This means, if Sandro is in his strong state, Ishkay is weak. If Ishkay is in his strong state, Sandro is weak.

Additional:

- Sandro loves butterflies... they are his favorite sweets.

- The boy can't control it when he loses his mind and starts going berserk... it often has to do with others trying to force him to do something against his will, but can be triggered by completely random things as well. His scythe's magic blue gem turns red in such cases, the marks on his face growing.
- Ishkay isn't sentient... he is more like a well trained dog that can understand Sandro's orders better than a regular animal would, but if someone throws him a bone he will go and fetch it either way.
- The Valarell Mansion looks rather spooky from the outside, the windows crushed, dust collecting everywhere, poison ivy growing over the walls and roof... Sandro likes that look somehow and even though he refurbished the interior, the garden and outer walls remain untouched. Due to this, nearby living peasants believe the mansion is haunted as the lights inside are on often, yet the mansion looks completely abandoned...
