Anyway this is what I propose for a real life move 3D adaptation of the hit series.

I'm ok with Keys, but I'm not sure about the other guys. You know, you can just get the guy that voiced GoliathΒ to do it again for this. 
As for your pick for Xanatos... wrong skin color. He's more 'olive' skinnedΒ if that is even a color skin can have. He's greek.Β
Why did you pick the Rock to be Goliath?
If they, someone, did this right, it could be great again.

unfortunately, I don't think they're ever going to go back and do anything with Gargoyles. That was back during the big Disney animation purge time! They around that time even fired Walt Disney's son from the board of directors, and he was in court for a few years before he got put back on the board of directors. It was around the time of that series that Disney decided to go in this so-called family-friendly direction and anything that was remotely adult in any shape or form whether it be cartoon or otherwise connected to Disney had the acts taken to it! Some of the stuff that Disney started pumping out after that was so dreadful. It's just disturbing in their attempt to make everything so politically correct and nonoffensive or adult in any way. They just started pumping out really, really bad crap. Gargoyles. Was only one of several showsΒ They cancel at the time due to the so-called new direction. They were trying to go In.it didn't matter how popular the shows were or were not or have good merchandise was doing anything that was perceived as grown-up theme or adult themes of any sort was pulled off the air. It's kind of ironic that Disney plays this cartoon on their network at all in reruns given out touchy-feely they were or a few years and they talk everything out of syndication cartoons like tailspin and dark wing duck were even taken out of rerun syndication for a time. Quite a few animators who were working for Disney ended up being either fired or quit. Around that time as well. Because of their not wanting to go along with the new Disney plan. Every so often somebody would sneak something by for a while that Disney but eventually those cartoons got canceled when the executives got Wise.from what I understand there, cause he maneuver nearly destroyed the Disney empire. Ironically. It wasn't till Tuesday started getting back into more grown-up stuff that they started making money again. As an example stuff like Kim possible became popular. I'm not sure exactly how long the dark time last for Disney animation, but it never fully recovered from the entire mass. You'll notice since they did gargoyles. I don't think Disney has done one television series. With that level of quality artwork as well as more adult storylines. Gargoyles was more directed words teenagers and was sort of Disney's last real attempt to grab an older audience and after that they went more in the direction of live sitcom type shows. Unfortunately.
I've been hoping they'd do a few projects like tailspin at a future point in time where characters like kit are much older and kit's a pilot as a example.
i for along time was hoping they might also do darkwing beoundΒ with it sa in the future wear Goslin mite be dark weighing or shes a cop in her 40's and some teen male or female takes on the role of dark wing and it wood have bin cool to have the original dw as thids 90 year old guy in a wheelchair calling the shots from behind a computer screen like in Batman beound

I know exactly what you're saying. But unfortunately, I don't think we'll see them go back to the gargoyles. You've got to remember how controversial that cartoon was back in its day.

What's wrong with Keith David and Sallie Richardson reprising their respective roles? Sallie does look like Elisa and Keith, I'm sure, would only be required for the voice, using CG for the actual gargoyle.

This is amazing...i love the casting. Although, i love Dwayne, I could always picture Jason momoa (Game of Thrones) as Goliath

well you defiantly peeked my interest in a live action of this show though I do wonder how they would pull of the inter species love that Elisa and Goliath have. They would have to make him look sexy enough to make Elisa over look it and alien enough to be gargoyle. Fine line there but they found it in Avatar I guess they could find it if they made a tv show but I think it would be hugely expensive. A pity thought. *Sighs* Love the pic though ^^!

Dwayne Johnson as Goliath? Now, for some reason that inspires a great deal of fear in me. Maybe because DJ is a giant ex-wrestler, maybe because he's freaking tall at 6'5''...or maybe because there's a 2012 movie being filmed where he plays Sinbad.
Either way, this is going to be interesting.

it's not for real of course, just racked my brain thinking "okay, now a lot of people love Gargoyles and making a movie would be so awesome if it was done right.....now who would play the characters."
I wanted to put Dwayne Johnson as Goliath mainly because I hate when filmmakers CG EVERYTHING. And while I know that this concept movie would require a lot of CG, I would hope that Dwayne being as stacked as he is, and how he is built with his awesome acting ability would combine to make Goliath one step better.

Love the poster and your choices for David and Elisa but I do strongly believe that Goliath should remain in CGI and that the original voice action should be kept the same as well.....BTW You made a typo in Gargoyles!!

Thank you very much, I appreciate your feedback. I too love the choices for David and Elisa, however I agree AND disagree with you on the voice, while Keith David was AWESOME as Goliath I believe for this time and age Goliath would need a little something extra, before I Dwayne Johnson I looked at the trailer for Scorpian King from 2002, I think he would bring honer to the role. Plus if you remember, gargoyles animated characters were modeled after the people doing their voice, for the real life actors I picked people that I believe would bring a lot to the role, but because Golith is LARGER then life I thought the Rock would be a great choice. As for the voice I think he would be awesome, however I do like and agree Keith David was brilliant for Goliath.

I do agree that Dwayne Johnson would have the physique desired, he doesnt have the growlish tone of voice to really bring immediate respect to the character but i'm glad that we had this talk! Keep up the good work

Thanks, I really love talking to fellow artists about my work, always nice to be recognized. I have to say that Dwayne could do it though, I mean his performance in the scorpion king in my eyes would make him the ideal candidate, but mind you in your defense I would have to see a screen test lol.
