Beautiful picture. I like the colors.

The cooling waters relieve every inch of your body as the waters rush over you. It has been quite some time since you had found rest and within the waters of this pond, you have. As you begin to close your eyes, a sudden pillar of light strikes in the dead center of the lake. Its intensity is so great that even as you shield your eyes, they still burn under its power. As the brightness of the light begins to reseed, you can make out a distinct female silhouette. At first you think the light is playing tricks on you for you think she may have been winged. However, once the light becomes tolerable, you mouth opens in awe at what you see. She stands before you with a body that appears to have been carved by angles themselves. Her tanned skin tone illuminates upon her as if she were toned by heavenly light. She is wrapped in a beautiful dress perfectly hugging her form and draped elegantly about the water. Her wings spread forth like a petals of a flower blossoming in the spring, beautifully adorned with a gilded armor and draped in silken sashes that perfectly matches her regal appearance. Glowing feathers flutter gently about them as they resonate with each move she makes, as she makes contact with the surface of the water. The surface of the pond begins to glow with each step she takes as she gets closer and closer to you. She is the Queen of Light and those who stand before her light will either be cleansed...or be destroyed.
As with many of your pieces, I do have to compliment you on your great show of personality in your pieces. The lighting and the design of the female subject looks really nice. However, where there is nice...there is room for improvement to become great. Like many of your pieces, you still need to work on more minuscule detailing the female characters as your pieces develop. Here are somethings that I would suggest as you look over this piece again.
-Try and add a sharper shine to the woman's skin as she stands in direct or indirect light.
-Add small details and textural enhancements to her physical appearance (skin, hair, eyes, etc).
-Create a sharper reflectivity effect to the water.
-Increase the intensity of the shading and light effects to better improve the shadow quality in the piece.
Make no mistake, this still looks good. However, you can still take it beyond what it is and make it great!

She reminds me of Lady Light (not excactly the same name, this time) and I'm almost done with that book. Anyway, such a very pretty picture, you put so many details and color it so perfectly
