Description
Moonlight shined down, making everything a light silver. Red eyes flickered in the dark of the pine tree's. Sitting on a branch in wait sat a small, lithe Vampire. Her long blonde hair blew lightly with the wind. In her left hand she held a long katana, a long sword from Japan. On her travels with her Pirate Crew, she has managed to master many weapons, and the Katana was silent and deadly. Though her gun was hidden under her green cap, it would be only her last resort.
She waited until moon high, then jumped silently from the tree's. She sailed through the air for what seemed like a minute, until landing in the middle of a hastily put up campsite. She saw the fireplace, where a fire had once been. To replace it, burning embers shined brightly. They shimmered in her red eyes. She stood up from landing on one knee from the jump. Her eyes moved quickly, darting from side to side.
'There!'
Her captain, Brutus Benson. He was the reason she left the ship, although she shouldn't have because she was still recovering from an earlier attack on herself. But Brutus was not only her captain, but best friend. She couldn't just leave it alone when she knew something was wrong. Brutus was tied up, his arms, legs, neck, and waist were wrapped in rope.
The young vampire walked over to her captain, quietly and silently.
"Brutus..." She whispered, trying to awake him. One of his eyes opened slowly. He opened his mouth in surprise, but the young vampire slapped her hand over he mouth.
"Shh..! I'm here to get you outta here." She explained, taking her hand off of her captains mouth.
"Jill, this is dangerous, you're still recovering, you should be resting!" He hissed quietly.
"I'm your last hope and you know it, since most of our crew... is gone already." She choked out the words. Losing her friends was one of the things she could hardly handle, but she managed to stiffen up her upper lip. Brutus nodded solemnly. Jill brought the blade of her sword to one of the ropes, and cut it quickly. She tried to get the one of his waist last, but it wasn't going as quickly as the others had.
"Sh!t..." She cursed under her breath.
"INTRUDER!!" She heard a man yell. She twisted up, gripping the katana tightly in her hand. A man in a navy outfit pointed a gun at her, and other men appeared from their tents, gun drawn and pointed carefully at her. She smirked, and jumped into the night sky. While the men looked around, one of them screamed:
"She's a vampi-" but his words were cut short by the quick lick of a blade to his throat. Someone shot, and the bullet missed Jill but a centimeter. She growled, then ran over to another guy, cutting his hand with his gun in it off. It fell to the ground and he screamed out in pain. She ended his suffering by jumping onto his back, grabbing his head, and twisting it violently. Another shot. This one grazed her leg. She jumped off the dead mans back before he fell to the ground and hissed at the young man who shot her.She ran up, Katana in hand, and shoved it through his sternum. He dropped the gun, and Jill pulled the blade out of him. He fell to his knees, and she jumped over him to avoid yet another bullet. Then another, She jumped out, caught it in her teeth, grabbed it and flung it back at another man who has shot it. She threw it with as much force as his handgun, and it kissed him right in between the eyes.
Her eyes grew a bright red, as human blood stained the ground. Her fangs grew and her skin turned a sickly gray. She shut her eyes tight for one moment, then sprang forward, and bit into the neck of a man who screamed in pain and surprise. The remaining two men shot at her, but she used the man as her shield. She drank his blood quickly until every drop was gone.
Feeling replenished, she gripped her katana even tight, then ran forth, and cut off their legs just above the knee. They both fell, crying out in agonizing pain. She smiled wickedly down at them, then proceeded to rip their heads off with her bare hands.
After she threw their heads aside, Jill fell to her knee's, panting loudly. She managed to get up, walk over to her captain, who was stunned from the scene that just took place, and cut the last rope. Her eyes were closed.
"Why.. did you do that?" Brutus said, his voice barely audible. Jill hesitated a moment, then opened her eyes and looked at her captain dead in the face.
"It was the only way I knew how..."
