I came across this in my gallery favs. It's one of my favorites because you can feel the power behind Simba and how delicate Kiara looks as she dangles before raging fire. I love the execution and the way the colors makes it explode (no pun intended) with emotion and action. Well done! I wish I could fav this 100 times.

if they do i hope they try to make Simba a bit more wiser. l think its unfair that Simba is in such a 'diva' and angry character in the show. dont forget that Simba has a bunch of experince his father never would have. Mufasa didnt live in the jungle for most of his cubhood, mufasa dont know a thing about raising teenagers (he dead when simba was still very young, if calculated by the growth of his tufs and cubman), also Simba ruled the prideland far longer. l love mufasa, but they keep forgetting this about simba.Β

I just go with the reasoning that since the movie doesn't take place over that much time (one day in Kiara's childhood, then a few with her as a young adult) during the day when she went to the outlands, I go with the thought that he was either sick, or playing with Bunga elsewhere, then when time passes, he and the guard go off to help others beyond the pridelands since the hyenas ran offΒ

could also be a reason why Simba is more worried than usual when Kovu joins. normally he would have the guard as backup of something like this happends. now he has to defend the pride alone if kovu decides to attack and he did (well simba thought so for a song). And when he banish Kovu he need the backup from the animals in the prideland because Kion and the team is not there. hehe ofc its a spin-off and not everything has to be linked to the movies..but i like making stuff up like this

Say what you will about Simba's overprotectiveness, but there's no denying that the guy was definitely passionate about and caring for and keeping his daughter safe. I respect that a lot, and this pic exemplifies it perfectly. Fantastic work!
