Skin of my teeth, I'm sure.
I barely didn't make it into this one because I didn't have the time to get anything done. I had been playing with ideas around forever- but Bass/Forte was always going to be in the picture, that's for sure.
I felt like a lot of the old-school Mega Man games probably had all the artists on them already, so I went for the new one- and dammit if Bass doesn't plow through Commando Man's level like a boss.

As far as the image is concerned, I admit it's a bit rushed. The deadline was popping up for this thing and I JUST cleared everything off my coloring job plate to get to work on this, turned it in, and then facekeyboarded when I saw they extended the deadline by a day or two. If I new that ahead of time, this image would probably look 10x better than it does now, but, as it stands, I'm pretty happy about this image- especially since I haven't drawn a proper Mega Man-related image in FOREVER.

PICK UP THIS BOOK GUYS! Since artists are hyping the books release next week, there have been some AMAZING Tribute pieces popping up and around deviantART, and the book is worth it alone for everyone's pieces.
*markerguru should post his sometime soon. That'd add to the extra hype because his piece is sexy. D:
Check out some of the other pieces by ~NgBoy , *lastscionz , ~hyperboy , and *MattMoylan ! I forget everyone else who got in this book, but look around deviantART and find the tribute pieces that are being posted!

There is some REALLY amazing stuff out there! Especially from people who didn't make it into the Tribute book, but were kind enough to have posted their pieces to dA anyway!

I've been dying for a MM Tribute book : ) I'm hoping UDON will consider doing a second one at some point- if not, that's awesome. There's a lot of CAPCOM Tribute books they can still do if this kinda stuff keeps going : )
