SCRATCHED UP, but returning victorious!!! Anywho. This is just the clean version, just scratched and dirt-marked from road-travel and battle! Rock on...and the eyes are glowing and stuff is glowing and the background is more a different color. I might be cheap and color this into a " Fire-Guts" version or a "Black-Battle" version or something.Anywho...maybe not. this was more tedious as it was..
...oh, he has a full face plate in this one.

Love the colors, the background's awesome... And I've been staring at the eyes for so long that... are there eyes in them? o_o I swear I see eyes inside those eyes!
Anyway... awesome job. Although the Cybertron/Autobot symbol doesn't look... a lot like it's supposed to be. XD;; Looks a bit different.

How I did it?
Step 1: close eyes and imagine a forest of unicorns.
Step 2: beat self in the head and then color
Step 3: open eyes.
Step 4: throw crap on it with several brushes to hide the mistakes.
Step 5: If the background is brighter than all hell itself, the attention is drawn away from the nasty and pulled into the shiny.
Five easy steps! : D

Hmm. Ok. Now I'm done prostrating myself before you...
I like how this pic evolved. The clean version was very cute but the coloring made it seem a little flat. Now you've scuzzed it up, added battlescars and rust effects, he's come more to life, become more 3D... the fact that the BG now lights him up from behind, it's glow surrounding him - really helps.
The face improved alot, I prefer his face with the full plate, it's the Optimus Prime I knew all that time ago. And the eyes have so much more power now. Oh, and I ~really~ 
My one critisism is that the red parts of his armor are still a tad flat, they could do with some scuzz-love too.
