I dunno. I just drew them- but neither really looks like who they're supposed to be.I was gonna put this in scraps, but I'm in a mood where I at LEAST want people to see this stuff. Whatever, though. It's not great or anything. And that "X" just being there is ugly...and I coulda done something about the page crease at the top..
Another "gem" from my sketchbook. Throw up in the back, please- not in the front where people stand.

cyclops on the other hand, its hard to recognize him. I coulda mistaken him for gambit. Well anyhow thats a great drawing! With Sharpie too!

You were going to put this in scraps? WTF? I think the way you drew this is top-notch! It reminds me of one of those quick little commision pieces you get at cons, were they just snap out a pen, doodle real quick, and hand you like some sorta instant masterpiece...like that one dude who drew HotShot for me...and not like David Kaye-sama (voice o' megatron/super smexy voice actor of evil peoples), whom tried to best said artist by drawing himself...:reminiscin'....:.lols2self...Anywho, I really likey this picture, so....is going to fave it now. ^-^~<3!

Rather negative one, are you? Well stop, cause this sketch is great. Embrace it. Then again, who am I to talk...I do the same thing. So...with that said, Negativity people UNITE!!! Again, great sketch! Wolverine looks awesome, as does Cyclops. Total thumbs up all around!

Although I'm no fan of Cyke, you've made him look -EXTREMELY- awesome and badass here. Wolvie's badass as always too. Splendidness my friend, just all out great and superb job! Sharpied with excellent skills, indeed.

:worthy: I will never, EVER look at my Sharpie the same way again, after seeing what it can do in the right hands!
Heck, I've used one at work every day for years. But the only thing artistic I get to do with them is make different types of X's on open medicine bottles in the pharmacy...
...and sometimes draw notes with little tombstones on computers and printers that die on us! Anyway...
Don't know if you had it in mind, but it reminds me of a cover I saw in the "Eve of Destruction" arc where Logan and Scott sneak into Genosha to try and stop Magneto from wiping out humanity. If I recall, Cyke really DID have "Gambit-hair" during that time in the comics. I think it does help him look more bad-ass.

I actually like it(though you're right, that "X" sticks out like a sore thumb). They both look very cool, and the sharp edges and dark blacks really project a sense of power. I also love the small details(smoke from Wolvie's cigar, wisps of energy from Cykes' visor).

Gritty racey solid. Doesn't remind me of any other style; just amazement with singular sharpies. Even in bust forms, theres a lot of energy contained between the two, even if just a 'sketch', its quite impressive.
And for once, Cyclops doesn't look like an uppity ass; this deserves a bow of a hat, to hell with a "tip".
