Wow. This took forevers; kinda. Total, I'd say this was less than a day's work... I spent about four hours a day on over a span of four days? 16 hours, and I still think it sucks. BUT! Here it is. I'm proud of it, overall. I mean, there's always room for it to look better, but I'm puttin this on the "finished" pile for now.It's fully functional Galvatron VS Zombie Galvatron and his army of the offline!
Apologies if it looks REALLY dark! Everything looks so bright on my monitor!

I was born in Germany, and I just like how "danke" sounds versus "Thanks!"; unfortunately, I can't speak it anymore- I was okay with it for about 4 years of my childhood, but moved to the states, never used it, and can't speak a lick of it anymore :I

Actually, it's pretty common. A specific example of an energy sword in TFs is in the 1986 movie where Megatron cuts into Prime with an energy saber/sword during their battle(after Prime rams him into a wall).
Also, Grimlock has an energon sword too- though that's more fire wrapping around a blade.
Laser sabers don't specifically belong to Gundam, though. I'm sure the concept has been around since before Gundam.

Yeah, I hate to sound like a total nerd but Megatron & Prime also had a short showdown using energy weapons in the very first miniseries movie for G1 season one in part 2 of 'More than Meets the Eye'.
Anyway, I REALLY like the way you painted them here. I just wish the animation looked as good as this does. Awesome layout too. You guys did a great job.

I actually had a dreama bout 3 years ago that the Decepticons released a chemical that acted like in the movie 28 days later to exterminate the humans. Unfortunately they killed me. I woke just as i got hit. Crazy.... anyways beautiful artwork.
