This is an Instagram request. These are two characters from a game called "Pump it Up", I've been told. We've swapped out their clothing with something else, as per request, and they are reenacting a scene from "To All the Boys I've Loved Before".

Listen. I don't know what the fuck. I'm the tier of artist who only gets requests from weirdos who have incredibly specific tastes. I couldn't tell you to what end I've been made to draw any of this shit, least of all this one. At least many of the other requests I did recently can trace lineage to rather straightforward depravities. "Please draw these furry animal creatures fucking" and the like. You guys get a pass, because yeah, you're fucked up nuts, but I can at least reason as to what chasm you're crawling out from.

THIS stuff^^ is the stuff I can't wrap my brain around, and in a way, that frightens me more than you guys and your self-insert anthro OC's. I don't know what's going through mind of someone who asks me to draw obscure DDR-type game characters in a scene from an innocuous Netflix movie with no apparent punchline or payoff whatsoever. This is absurdism, and it's what keeps me up at night.
