My yet-another submission for the Monstervania I have made, this time, it is based on the famous bigfoot. In my take on the bigfoot, aka the sasquatch, it is a species of modern day ground sloth. The reason why I made it a living ground sloth rather than an ape is due to two things. One, why would a native American animal that looks almost nothing like an ape evolve into a very ape-like animal? And two, how the heck would a non-human ape be able to cross a land bridge between Siberia and Alaska? Most apes are highly dependent on living in tree tops to feed on fruit and to be safe from predators. With so little fruiting trees (if any) for food and safety around in Siberia and Alaska, the sasquatch being a species of non-human ape of the Americas is unlikely. However, the ground sloths were found almost in every part of North and South America, and they were found living at the end of the Ice Age (no, not the film Ice Age, the Late Pleistocene kind of Ice Age), so that makes much more sense than it being a unique American ape. I also included South America as its natural range, not just North America, based on myths and cryptozoology that centers on bigfoot-like creatures living in South America.

Imagine a world where monsters, mythical creatures, and other fictional organisms existed in real life. Here, we have a speculative look of what these scientifically accurate monsters and other mythics would look, act, and sound like. However, we not only show monsters and other mythics, but also movie monsters/villains reimagined as real animals, plants, and fungi.
