Description So I've briefly mentioned in previous journals about one of the upcoming projects I've been lucky enough to work on with some extremely talented people. This is something that's taken over a great portion of our free-time outside of class or work, and has given us the opportunity to re-create the professional atmosphere we aspire to be apart of one day.

As a result, we've made sure to keep everything locked and sealed for the last couple months. This is a small taste of our world, quite literally a thumbnail of what we have to offer, and I invite you on behalf of our team to stay alert for what's to come...

I'm quite a fan of paintings with a limited colour palette, I find it really enhances the mood of a piece, and it has definately worked here!! These are great little concepts with a nice narrative feel

Thank you. I tend to have trouble keeping my pallet muted but when it works I think you're right it definitely adds to the mood

The way in which these two pictures are displayed thematically suggest a subtle but altogether great importance to the scene. They make me want to write and explore them in great detail. Well done!

Thanks so much Basil! I'm so humbled something like this would push you to write. Let me know if you ever do. I'd love to hear your take on the story behind these locations

Really shows how colour can define the mood, even in a scene with as much mood as this.

Definitely. I've been messing around a lot lately with color. Starting to get the feel for what pallets work well with certain illustrations in terms of mood and lighting. Fun stuff

Curly branches!! That one in the foreground is mostly a custom brush I found a while back but never really used. Makes some really interesting shapes.

Thanks man!! I've really been enjoying thins new process. Keeping things broad and bold and splattering on some textural brushes. Keeps the creativity in check and gets a lot faster results.
