Description
This is the waterfall nebula of what will now be my Sea of Divinity series. I've never put so much experimentation and changes into a piece, which is why this damn painting took me so long. It's actually quite funny, this was not originally supposed to be a series piece for SoD.. it all happened by accident. But what a refreshing accident it was
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy.. I know it's been a little while since I posted. Any questions and comments are appreciated.

This is not a critique, I think it's well done. Nice work. This is more of an observation:
You have a light source from the right side of the planet. It's casting a nice highlight along the edge. you also have rings around the planet which seem to have some mass as we can clearly see them. What is not there though is a shadow being cast by the rings on the surface of the planet.
It seems odd that would be missing.

It`s interesting because most paintings of this nature would have the nebula going horizontally, but the vastness of space does not have "up" or "down" in the usual sense. That is the main reason why I like it, the beautiful & moody colours too. Great work

inspiring. I love how nothing is visible on the left side. Very mysterious. Reminds me of some temporal anomaly, some weird fluctuation of reality that has created some sort of portal, through time, space, or dimensions.
