To anyone concerned: I am a nudist. My goal with this comic is to help normalize the human body with a positive depiction of nudism. I understand and respect any concern.

The idea with the "It's Monday" thing is that it's easier for Penny to relax without any clothes on, so since it's the first day of the school week, she likes to be naked after getting home from school on Mondays to help her decompress.

As the parent, Judge was concerned about Penny being rude when her friend came over, but clearly, Summer is not bothered by it.

Summer has always been the shy one, whereas Penny has always been the shameless one, so I like to imagine that they hang out naked together every once in a while and that it has helped Summer break out of her shell a bit, at least in the Dimes' house. She never would have done this around anyone other than Penny when she was first introduced. I've wanted to involve Summer in a nudism comic for a while now because of this.
