I am no good at photography when it involves buildings, architecture etc. This is one of the types of photography I started this project for. Well, this and macro photography, of which I ask: "What's its appeal?" But, this is just me. I went into event photography first, I didn't start off with macro and architecture photography like most people do.

Anyway, this is Carey's Lane in Cork City. I actually took this photo yesterday, on New Years Day, as the street was completely empty, a stark contrast to the crowds it has drawn in the last few weeks. Also, given the fact most of the cafes on the street are closed it looks a lot less cluttered, and a lot more picturesque.
