Meet DIV, one of Elise's prototypes and a general terror to her immediate environment. Elise designed and assembled DIV as an early attempt to equip one of her "polymorphous waveguide" generators with machine intelligence. The result was a moving, speaking, thinking cluster of photons held in stasis by its own EM-field cage. By all accounts, the experiment was mostly successful.

Mostly.

Elise's first design of DIV involved only the hardlight structure, but Elise soon discovered (after a network analyzer and two phones blew their transistors) that DIV's extremities occasionally radiate EMP bursts - a consequence of building fine detail into the hardlight mesh. Furthermore, these bursts affect not only devices around DIV, but DIV herself, scattering her cognitive abilities. As an attempt to patch the issue, Elise added a thin layer of insulation plating to DIV's design. It hasn't helped with DIV's thought-scattering, but at least she can be in the same room as a computer without frying it.

Of course, with Elise in charge of designing the mind of DIV, you can be certain that DIV share's Elise's... extracurricular interests. And with capabilities such as flight, hardlight manipulation and optical camouflage, you'd think she'd be well-equipped to take part in the aforementioned interests. Except...

DIV is only about 6 inches tall.

As of yesterday morning (before Elise had gotten her morning coffee), DIV's mandate is "go bother someone your own size". Taking this as literally as a machine could, DIV has since run a biometric scan for targets fitting her creator's description. So far, only one suitable result has been returned.

Gearing up to take flight (much to Elise's relief), DIV absently wonders who this "Mocha" might be.
