...or Ra Devil if I may.New Yellow Devil? What was the point of that name? He's not even predominantly yellow!
There were some fancy hieroglyph-type dealies on the golden bands on his body, but the images I could get were really blurry.
According to [link] New Yellow Devil is the most powerful Devil boss in the entire series, even beating the Shadow Devil from X5.

Well, most of the fortress bosses from X5 were a pain to beat, anyway. It's a strange coincidence that the strongest Devils are black as opposed to the original Yellow Devil.

But then, New Yellow Devil did have a voice, except it was identical to Ra Moon's, and it was all growls and groans and nonesuch.

Yeah, it had no spirit like YeDe. But that's a recurring thing with robots created/co-created by Ra Moon. They have no free will (or even proper voices) of their own. Ra Moon just creates mega super powerful robots and strips them of any personality.
In order to compensate, they all look badass in black and gold with decorative hieroglyphics.
