Predator usually goes after dangerous enemies, while Jason goes after unarmed teens.
Predator for the win.

Awful reasoning. Their preys mean nothing when they're literally two completely different characters. The Predators are galactic hunters who hunt anything worth the challenge. Jason protects his home from uninvited visitors, and that includes SWAT teams and army soldiers, all of which are next to nothing compared to Jason.
Jason's beaten a fair share of creatures far stronger than any Jautja, or Xenomorph, for that matter. The Predator's cloaking device and weapons don't change anything, Jason's stealth is superior and futuristic weapons aren't really a problem.

Until the Predator beheads him.

...Which has been proven many times to not being effective in the slightest.
And wouldn't happen anyway since Jason's far tougher than the average human.

True but Jason has gone up against a telekinetic, S.W.A.T. officers, a strike force from the future, an android and Freddy among other less than common opponents.

Good point. Still, the Predator would play it safe and finish him from a distance.

I mean, would he? The Predator race is all about honor and only believes in using his more high tech weaponry if given no other choice. Hell even one of the Berserker Predators (Who are said to be against honor) showed some with that samurai guy who stayed behind and fought him claw to sword despite having laser canons at the ready. Doesn't seem honorable to attack one guy with a melee weapon by spamming laser canons from a distance.
I believe the Predator would start off up close and personal, then move back and attack from a distance when he realizes that isn't working due to Jason's regen and durability. Before Predator switches tactics Jason could do some serious damage due to (a personal opinion) superior edge in close range combat.

I think the Predators are better at close combat.

Jason is stronger and more durable plus has regen to fend off Predator's claw strikes. Meanwhile Jason could carve up Predator with his machete on his non-armored flesh parts (Since full body armor is overrated in the Predator culture for some reason).
Predator being more skilled and quicker would only work for so long against something like Jason in a close-quarters face-to-face battle.

Maybe, but a Predator can fight a Xenomorph (alien) on physical combat, and they have extremely durable bodies and powerful claws that can cut through most metals.

Jason has shown to be able to lift cars, one of Freddy's boiler tanks, punched through steel doors, punched skulls clean off and beat a person to death with another person in a sleeping bag...twice!
Not to mention Jason was able to fight Uber-Jason, his enhanced cyborg counterpart from the future who is everything Jason is but stronger and better:
