Sasha has a routine she adheres to three times a week. That would be giving Silver and her other two horses, Chance and Scout, a bunch of apples as rewards for their hard work. She gathers them in a large basket in the barn, then distributes them through the window. In this instance, Silver was craving apples, but Sasha was out working and wouldn’t be back for a while. Feeling particularly ornery, he manages to break the hatch with a swift kick. He then climbed inside so that he was halfway through the opening. Just beneath him was the large basket filled to the brim with freshly picked apples. Overcome with joy, he proceeded to not just eat a large portion, but the entirety of the apples. This fattened him up greatly, leading to him getting stuck very tight in the small window. Sasha won’t be pleased when she finds her mail horse like this.
