“Now, I cooould try helping you out, but why rush?” Daphne taunted the stuck coyote.

She leaned against Cassidy’s large bottom, grinning smugly. “Besides, I still haven’t payed you back for your last heist.”

“Wait—what’s SHE doing here!?” Barked Cassidy.

“Who?”

“The monster! I recognize her voice.”

“How’d she know we was here?”

“I dunno!”

“Well, dis ain’t good.”

“And I’m stuck getting the brunt of it again!”

Butch pondered Cassidy’s words. She did seem to get the worst of the pushback whenever they got in trouble. Granted, she was the bigger of the two, but Butch still felt he could contribute a bit more. Cassidy was a tough coyote, but getting so easily bested over and over again was wearing her out.

“Dat’s it,” he huffed, “I ain’t gonna sit around and let you take the punishment, Cass. I’m gonna do something!”

He scurried off, leaving Cassidy confused.
