Description
Here's my long overdue attempt with a piece of My life as a Teenage Robot fanart.I used a tutorial provided by
NOTE: She removed the tutorial, but, trust me, it was easy to follow
The background was stock hummingbird88-stock.deviantart⦠used from with permission by
The frame is brushed aluminum and was added using Photoshop 4.0. I thought it matched her paint job.
QUESTION: How do I remove the faint blue line surrounding her body?
LEGAL STUFF: Jennifer Wakeman aka XJ-9 aka Jenny was created by Rob Renzetti and is licensed through Nickelodeon Studios.

A nice effect.
I don't know how you would eliminate the line in Photoshop, but I assume it has the same functions as Paint Shop Pro. Using PSP, you could use the layers tool to be sure everything you don't want is cut away from the Jenny figure and then combine with the layer for the background.
Alternately, if you are not working with layers, you could use the color replacement brush to replace the blue outline with some other color, such as the color of the existing line.
Experiment, but don't underestimate the value of a small contrasting colored outline to make a figure "pop out" from the background.

Well, I did try option 2 earlier, but I wound up with thicker lines that were distracting. However, I shall commence to tweaking I do need Layer education anyway
