Say what you will about Archie canon, but Tempo is one of the best damn things to come out of it IMO. She furthered the dialogue on Robot Master ethics in particular, opening up the complex psychology brought by sentience, as opposed to the standard robopsychology.

As such, you learn that Robot Masters, like humans, are capable of experiencing afflictions to the psyche, even trauma. More to that, that said trauma is brought about by treating their systems as if they are a typical robot- such as removing their emotions.

Tempo is the first to be shown with real issues about being destroyed and rebuilt (granted, the destruction part isn't even the core issue), and this is a part of why.

Anyway, this is far from being my best, but what inspired this brought me to post it here nonetheless.
