Thank you for your feedback! I made this realization a few months back and it's part of why I've slowed their production. In this situation it's purely coincidence. At the time of Robu's creation, I hadn't seen their species before. I plan to make changes to Robu's in the future before I relaunch them again!

Honestly I think both species are VASTLY different, if you only go by "It's a critter with a shrimp tail" then heck, 90% of the adopts are copying each other being some variation of a canine/feline. looking at Robus and Shrimpdragons, I can say for sure that's literally the only similarity they have and even so the way the tails are drawn are so different. Their anatomy are almost contrasting with how round and compact shrimpdragons are compared to the slender beauty and elegance of Robus. Sure they have the same core concept, but by that logic, pokemon and digimon are ripping each other off.
I say just have fun with your species, darling, because they're gorgeous and definitely unique in their own way. <3
(shhh i know this is old, but it appeared while i was searching and couldn't help it but to say my two cents, specially if that has taken you from them. These darlings have a special place in my heart ever since Revska commissioned me to draw one of theirs)
