Description
For those of you who know me, I love to do paintings with a play on common phrases. I am inspired beyond belief by the English language... SO here is my interpretation of the old addage.. "Pulling Myself Together".Related content

This is exactly how I feel when I'm deep down in a depression and somebody tells me that I should pull myself together.

It can be difficult when people just think that a person can just snap out of depression, or even bad life choices. Sometimes these things take time. Well except in this painting. Convenient to just have a yellow ribbon to pull... haha

I wish I had that kind of a ribbon.

Stunning as ever. Hold on, this didn't appear on my inbox. My apologies for the horrible crime of not adding you to my watch list.

Thankyou LRushton... Ahch, in order for there to be a crime, there has to be a victim... none here!! Nice to meet ya!

Oh thanks, though we have met before a few times. I must have the better memory!

Well, now... if we are going to talk about memory you will win hands down! haha... I have no memory at all. It is quite disturbing at times...
I do apologize for anything I have forgotten.

Ah, sadly mine can become too good at entirely the wrong moment and be useless when I need it.
Hmmm, I've checked my notes and we don't have a child call Bernard. That's a relief.

Beautifully pensive; what draws me most is their "consciousness", both the woman and the bird. Strange that she is bearing a crest on her head, resembling a peacock, while the bird lacks any decorative garb. She seems decisive enough...

Wow, beautiful. Simply beautiful. It is something that is so obvious, yet so out of reach. Beaituful job.
