This took me forever to finish... I'd like to thank , owner of Jin and my opponent this round, for her amazing support and entry and for his support (along with everyone else in #RoninRubbish ) and the extention.For this duel, we had to submit a one page splash, ukiyo-e style. Something I've never done. I really hope that I can at least try to live up to my opponent. Her work is awesome, make sure to check Sid out.
On his way to the Red Ball tournament site, Hiro first takes up a bounty offer, in the hope of earning some easy cash for the journy supplies. So don't worry, Jin isn't dead, just beaten, drugged, and chained to the floor. ^^ Enjoy!

Kind of sucks how we can't kill our opponents anymore. It used to be that our whole comic would be leading up to some fantastically gruesome fatality wasn't it? :V I guess it forces people to be more creative now though. Anyway, the wild perspective is great here, and you're getting a lot better.

This is quite awesome work, Crim. The style may or may not be spot-on ukiyo-e, but...hot damn, this looks amazing. Excellent fisheye perspective on those swords.

Thanks! I agree, it's not spot-on Ukiyo-e. I had already started drawing before I really had an idea of what that was. So instead, I made ukiyo-e Crimmy style. I added my own touch, blended it with my own style. ^^ I couldn't stand to have it look flat.
