Description
So here I'm trying to break from my typical anime cuts coloring style that I usually do. I like how it turned out and hope to do more of these and also to improve on it as I see issues already.Anyways, hope you like!

I've been a fan of your work for a while now, and I have to say, I don't like the new direction you're taking. It just looks too unnatural, especially that awkwardly long, skinny, arm, it seriously bothers me.

i think this is a perfect anatomy style, it doesn't have to be realistic to be good, it's art and art is not only one way of making it, it's up to your view of it. this is perfect the way it is so i completely disagree with the person before me (with the liquify which looks dreadful compared to your version, sorry but it's true) SO really good job on this, i love it.

Style is an abstraction of reality, not an excuse for it, and reality informs the believability of a style. The reason we believe everything in Adventure Time, for instance, is because it is purposeful and consistent in its rules no matter how crazy the rules get.
E-V-IL is an extremely accomplished artist, and my notes for him are just from one person seeking to better himself to another person same. Every single one of us needs a reminder once in a while to take a few steps back to appraise issues of proportion - it's a very common problem even for even the best artists (take a look at Da Vinci's rough sketches some time). Try this: Place your hand on the screen to block out all but one section of the drawing above. Now do the same for a different section. Each looks perfect individually, correct? Now walk to the other end of the room and look at the image from far away. It no longer looks believable. This is because while working on this drawing, the artist focused on the parts without first determining the whole. In other words, the anatomy here is not a style - it is a common mistake.
I'm personally holding out hope for a "Poison 2.0" sometime in the future, or really any human figure from this artist as he continues to expand out from his other areas of expertise. Seriously, those environments are kick-ass!

I like what you do, so please know that I care when I say the following. It doesn't do a lot of good to polish a drawing until you've worked out the framework. I've taken the time to do a quick-n-dirty liquefy filter on your drawing. Please have a look: [link]
With it, I've re-aligned the hips into her direction of weight (one leg will almost always be straight up), shortened the right humerus and enlarged the head slightly to match the hip/shoulder ratio you've established. The liquefy isn't perfect, but it'd be a good jumping point for a later Poison 2.0 if you pushed the pose a little.
Your grasp on anatomy is actually pretty good, just make sure to stand back from your work once in a while to check proportions. I also believe you succeeded in the new rendering technique you tried.
