I enjoyed reading your thought process as I looked over the piece. I--and I think other people, as well--have a tendency to look at amazing pictures and be jealous of the illustrator's skill, but go no further than that. We don't appreciate the time that's put in, or the changes that had to be made along the way; the sheer amount of effort it takes to produce a spread goes over most people's heads. I feel like I finally get it. Skill isn't all you need to produce great art.
I love your work. Thank you for reading One Piece, and feeling the need to share your hard work with its other fans. Even if we don't appreciate the effort, we appreciate the art.

Awesome work yo so envious to your skillz at drawing One Piece. Reading your description on it, is like I'm in your same shoes from what you said near the ending. If it wasn't for Oda's One Piece work I never would had picked up a pencil and paper to get back to drawing again. Just started again Mid-November 09 after 7 years of not drawing at all. I hope to improved my skills as you did and draw awesome One Piece art.

if you think your friend would like it so much, i have prints of that poster that you can purchase for her, you know. it's kind of an "ouch" when i'm trying to sell prints of it and you just come to me and ask if you can just print it for free.
besides, i think your friend would appreciate something you create yourself on that tea-dyed paper a lot more.
