You spent a whole week working on this? Wow, you are seriously determined. I got that you felt like giving up more than once, but the fact that you didn't, but instead put so much work and detail and trouble into making this, and actually finishing, is what really impresses me. Not to mention the picture is a real masterpiece.
I think your style is great, and that you put so much effort into finding references and perfecting Oda's characters to keep them as 'real' as possible, ... Just blows me away. I just don't get how the strings for your two perspective points you mentioned at the beginning (whut?) work. I never took any art classes either, but the difference is I suck naturally, so...
Anyways, your walkthrough was really quite interesting, thanks. (I'd put a whole bunch of liitle smileys and stuff but I don't... know... how...) >.<

I've gotta say, one of my favorite parts of this drawing is the Artist's Comments. Going indepth over your process with progress pictures let me begin to see it through your own eyes. I had viewed this image several times before reading it, but after having read it, the picture looks almost completely different to me. Only after reading it, and seeing the pain and effort you went through can one really appreciate this. All the little details come through that I was blind to at the beggining. You've really driven for incredible accuracy, and haven't neglected any of the small details. Having this kind of patience with your artwork is a real virtue. Lots of people (myself especially) would definitely give up on a picture after frustrating days or would do a shoddy job on the minor details.

Wow, your work is truly inspirational, and I love the level of detail and effort you put into it, every area of the image tells a story.
I love the way you give links to give us an insight into how you work, especially how you tackled proportion, perspective and the litte details like cindry's arm throw and Robin and Perona's costume.
Keep it up, I can't wait to see what you draw next.

x3 Even though this piece is older, reading your comment was fun. I loved all the progress pictures you included and seeing how the whole thing evolved over its creation. :'D
Looking at this and trying to mind all the details is a blast, from the paintings on the walls to the menu board above the kitchen window, or even just the little items strewn across the counters. Everything comes together to make this whole scene extremely convincing and natural.
And I like how you can even see zombies over Hogback's shoulder and behind Perona in the kitchen. Is that sanitary? XDDD
Everyone's clothing is epic; Usopp's garlic necklace made me laugh and the lace and stuff on Robin's dress is just /whoa./
XD I think my favorite parts are Perona and Brook. Brook just looks awesome, the perv. And Perona's costume and umbrella turned out lovely. Plus her "STFU BEARSY" expression is endlessly amusing. XDD
Agh, I could go on forever, but I'm going to stop myself. My computer would run out of text before I finished this comment at this rate. XD

I have just one question : When you doodle something in your sketchbook, do yo redraw an precis picture on another sheet, or do you use your first sketch and draw it entirely one your first sheet ?
