Yes, the one yesterday was a joke. Here's the real one.
First One Piece colorspread in... I think a year. I apologize for the long hiatus of decent OP fanart, I hope this makes up for it. Also (believe it or not), the first OP colorspread EVER featuring the Strawhats not in chibi form! Partly it's because of my fear of not being able to do these guys justice, but mostly because there are just too many of them.
Also, apologies for slapping the watermark everywhere. I really don't want to be accused of stealing my own art, nor be accused of uploading Oda's colorspread from a nonexistent chapter. Yeah, I'm looking at you, scanlation teams.
And lastly, some progress shots, to prove that I did draw this. People seem to have trouble believing that.

Dude, your shit is good. Honestly, truly, legitimately good. But you're never gonna draw just like Oda. There are subtle differences that I assume anyone who actually reads One Piece could easily pick out. His style cannot be exactly yours. The idea of mistaking one of your pieces for his is just kinda... dumb. Not that you don't do an amazing job, but... as I said, you aren't the same person.

Wow wow wow. This is incredible. You've nailed the style, and beyond that your small windows into each crew member's activities during the time jump are natural and fitting. Incredible work, I especially placement of the straw hat in the foreground.
Man, I'd love to know what happened to Chopper's old hat during that time. My theory is that an experiment went wrong and he destroyed it, so he used what remains of it he could to build a new hat.

they are available as prints, though not through DA as this is fanart. i'm selling these at three conventions this year: fanime in san jose, CA, a-kon in dallas, TX, and anime expo in los angeles, CA.

I figured that's probably why you didn't sell them here. Do you have base price? I can't attend the cons and I don't have the money right now; but if it'd be possible to buy them away from the cons, I'd be very interested in that sometime.

perhaps, i'll have to think about it. i did try doing online sales of prints, but the shipping was just quite a hassle to deal with, as there are no cheap way to get them sent out safely.
