Yes, the one yesterday was a joke. Here's the real one.
First One Piece colorspread in... I think a year. I apologize for the long hiatus of decent OP fanart, I hope this makes up for it. Also (believe it or not), the first OP colorspread EVER featuring the Strawhats not in chibi form! Partly it's because of my fear of not being able to do these guys justice, but mostly because there are just too many of them.
Also, apologies for slapping the watermark everywhere. I really don't want to be accused of stealing my own art, nor be accused of uploading Oda's colorspread from a nonexistent chapter. Yeah, I'm looking at you, scanlation teams.
And lastly, some progress shots, to prove that I did draw this. People seem to have trouble believing that.

I'm curious (and sorry if you've been asked this already - I couldn't find the questions in the comments) as to why you seem to have added Luffy last both in lines and colors. Is it something to do with your process? Or was it just because you thought of that scene last and decided to get started early on the other ones?

both, really. i had three or four different ideas i was juggling for luffy's panel and decided to work on the rest before i decided what to do for luffy's panel. also the left side and the right side are done on separate pieces of paper joined together, so luffy's panel will have the seams in the middle. because of that i decided to just do luffy on another piece of paper and join them all up digitally, which delayed the finish of his panel.
