--- AFTER ACTION REPORT --- OPERATION LIBERTY BELL ---Following prediction of CEPH attack imminent in Philadelphia, USDD elected to send force of five hundred marines under command of COL. BRADLEY to extract targets of importance from city. Nanosuit Corps troopers PROPHET, PSYCHO and PANDORA were attached to USMC forces. Philadelphia National Guard nationalised and prepared for immediate engagement.
Upon landing, USMC and Nanosuit troops were assaulted by mercenaries belonging to the rogue PMC C.E.L.L. and casualties were sustained. City officials were successfully evacuated by marines and Nanosuit troopers secured vital intelligence from C.E.L.L. operatives on CEPH.
CEPH attack began earlier than expected at 1800, but 30% of marines and all nanosuit troops were successfully evacuated. This is the highest successful recovery rate of the Ceph War so far. As many civilians as possible were also taken out of the city but most Philadelphians had to be left behind - NG covered evac by rail for several hours but had been overrun by 2300.
Intel is currently being decoded by USDD and C.E.L.L. prisoners have been slated for interrogation.

Basically, Crysis, but it's an AU where the Pentagon isn't staffed by complete incompetents. Other than that, not much story behind this - just something I did to keep myself active.
