The Crystal Gems have been fiendishly turned into a set of matryoshka dolls by [insert antagonist here]! Garnet and Pearl have acclimatized very quickly, although Pearl is a little bit miffed at only being the second layer - nevertheless, they will ensure nobody escapes their protection. Steven is already coming around to their way of thinking, leaving only Amethyst immune to the thought-altering magic - but unable to break free to change back. Poor Peridot, at the bottom, is so constricted that she can only think very simple thoughts.

Looks like it'll be up to Connie, Bismuth and Lapis to save them! Or be turned into toys as well. One or the other.
