Tranquil, Lackadaisical, Vague (overall mannerism):
Rian rarely gives a strong impression the first time one meets him. While he has no problem interacting in regular basis with other wolves, one wonders if he is paying attention at all. He carries himself with monotony around the other wolves, talking and behaving with a shamelessly slowness and indifference that makes one wonder if he is, at least, vaguely aware of his surroundings, or even his own thoughts.
It´s not that he doesn´t care about how to behaving around others, it´s the contrary, he has learned the advantage of keeping a serene exterior around others. It´s easy to fall for your own emotions, so Rian takes the liberty to be still for the sake of the group, not falling into unnecessary stress and making others lower their guard around him. Just because his eyes are closed, doesn´t mean that his ears aren´t listening.

Energetic, Relentless, Cooperative:
Despise what one thinks of his usual carefree mood, Rian rarely wastes his time. A superior can easily order him around for small or big tasks and he will do it without complaining, if no one has a task to give him, Rian usually take the initiative on hunting, patrolling or being a pup sitter.
Anything and everything works for him. Slacking only makes him feel irritable, he needs to be useful for his pack, his motivation lies on improving the life quality of the ones that surround him and make the pack stronger.

Creative, Humorous, Witty:
Rian sees the world through the eyes of a pup and doesn´t take a lot for him to get amused at little things in his every day life. One can easily notice when he is considering scenarios that he finds "funny" when he snickers at himself

Although he wouldn´t act on his fantasies, one can expect him to have a childish sense of humor due to this tendency, and most of the time they are right, but one of his fortes is pick up a delicate situation and break it for criticizing through mockery. He rarely feels hesitation to point out flaws with sarcasm, it´s almost like a second nature for him to do it, as he was trained for such antics while living in his past pack. He also uses this to entretain othe wolves, but this may earn some punishment among more prickly members now that he is in Vektren.

Rian may enjoy acting like a slob in front of others, but when needed, he knows how to present himself as a gentleman. Being gallant, appropriate and clean can be natural for him; becoming a pleasing companion within the matter of seconds. Depending on his objective, he will rely on shrewd words or slow, watchful means to accomplish it. Rian won´t accept a "no" as an answer. He rarely relies on pointless praise on more ethical wolves during these situations. Those are only used to fake and charm more naive wolves or stay in good terms with superiors from other packs. All of this makes him an exemplary ambassador and a merciless bargainer.

Rian rarely shows this trait, but he is more alert of his surroundings than one can imagine, details rarely scape from his eye. He currently prefers to keep a low profile among other wolves. Better for him if they don´t think anything strange about him observing them. This applies to both, his way of working and thinking, but its also rare for this to occur. It´s not about who pushes him into it; there is not a definitive predicament about what will catch his attention, but, once it happens, it won´t fade from his mind. He is aware when he enters into this mental and emotional state of attachment but he doesn´t see it as a problem, as only few have see with their own eyes and yet no one told him that it was one. Rian doesn´t bother to fix this side of himself because he has only experienced it a couple of times throught his entire life. His zealousness can render him useless for the pack in the long run. His fixation can change his gentle demeanor into hysterical cholera over experimenting the smallest insatisfactions. To get what he wants he will force others to act on his way and if one don´ t cooperate with him, he will make sure to put the blame on them when things go sour. Although it was never a calm one, he remembers tension between the figures that were his father and mother. It´s probably that they were loners or even exiled from their original pack. His mother disappeared one day and Rian doesn´t recall his father mourning over her. Maybe she got tired of the hardships or she could not handle the responsibility of looking over her pups with only one to help her, but she was gone and his father left with five mouths to feed.

Most of Rian´s siblings perished to hunger until he was left with only one brother. Their own father was desperate, he approach the nearest pack and offered them his sons in exchange of an elk to eat. They agreed on the trade and with that, their starved father retreated from their life as well. Rian does not resent his father or wonders why he was not capable of looking over his own blood, it just don´t matter anymore. The male gifted them names for him and his brother before leaving, as it was the only thing he could ever truly give them.

This new pack, Rosne pack, would be his home for most of his life. They never acted as a family, each member took care of themselves and fought one another constantly for control, but they were far from barbarians. One had to work their way up from the bottom. That is how both his brother, Noah, and Rian started.
They were treated like mere servants, older members would overwork often the pups ordering them to perform different chores without previous tutoring. The constant exhaustion and intensity of their life did the opposite of bringing the brothers closer and instead, they disassociate completely from each other.

It could be mere luck, but as Rian grew into his juvenile years, the alpha of Rosne took the grey boy under his wing. The alpha was no less firm than the other members, but he was observant, and saw how the grey whelp was keen-eyed and sly as a fox. He had and idea to keep the peace among the pack and he not let that talent waste, as he had the perfect role for Rian to take.
through the months, Rian´s intelligence flourished. The alpha didn´t needed a puppet. He wanted a truthful advisor, someone to think for him in the case he could not lead the pack and eyes to spot flaws and voice them through satire, Rian was given the permission to be a severe critique within the pack to keep the peace, as long as he knew how to not dig his own grave.

It was a noble idea, and Rian grew from a judge to an advisor, and eventually turned into a powerful political figure among the pack at a young age, but the alpha let him drift away from their original goal. Rian lost sight of what his duty was. His silence was obtained easily through countless favors, and he would mask all harm from the pack by entretaining them. The solidarity and responsibility was blissfully replaced with a life of cheap pleasures. Before he could notice, he joined to a intimate circle of corruption and keep himself as one of the heads of the pack. In his mind, they all could thrive normally as long things were kept as a secret.

He turned a blind eye to the fact that the morale of the pack was fastly crumbling. Some members were planning on overthrowing the current superiors, as well as the alphas. Among those wolves, Noah was leading the rebellion, but thee weren´t careful enough, too desperate and angry, and caused an outbreak sooner than expected. Rian was one of the many who fled, he doesn´t know if his brother perished or was able to rebuild the pack. But the mutiny changed Rian´s personality. Now more wary and heavily judgmental, he was unsure what to do or where to go.

Rian wandered into the Domain, slowly maddening with the need to belong somewhere and forget his failures. Does he admit that he should have been more attentive? Yes. But negligence is not a crime in his eyes. Rosne is now someone else´s problem. But he needs something more than just a pack, he will never be able to fit in a normal one, he is far too willing to advance into wrongdoings, instead of turning back and fixing them. He knows he won´t do good in a "correct" environment, but he still needed to serve someone. Maybe he if searches well enough he will be able to find what he needs.
