I love elephants. you did a brave work trying to get his skin textures in ink! Love that ultramarine in background!!!!

Elephants. There is so much to say about them. Amazing creatures. I think sometimes we forget that they're not just big unique animals but also one of the smartest and most empathetic creatures. I think I read somewhere they have more in common with us than you might initially think especially their way of life, the way they do things in their herds, their feelings, their language skills and how they react to issues like we do. Incredible.
One day i need to give painting one a go.. but I am a little daunted by their structure (I'm thinking they gotta be easier than a deer though - deers are really annoying - their legs kill me lol)
Skin would be a problem.. but I guess artistically you can decide what you really want to show in the painting/drawing. You put some hard effort in yours with ink... especially since.. if you mess up - you're gonna have to "work with the mess up" or scrap the image LOL...

Yeah. I love elephants. I think deers are harder to paint. At least they where for me. That's why I have so many in my gallery

Ha ! I remember my first paintings back in 2015 (see Storm Chaser ). Took me around three hours to just finish the sketch
