Using the Cheops-class ship Ra had in the Stargate movie (the visual inspiration for my scratch-built Ramilies) as a substitute for my model (pics will be uploaded once I find where I packed it), I scaled Ra's ship to the Ramilies as best I could, since the Cheops is at an angle and not straight-on. Also added BFG ships to scale with a 'probable' 50 km Ramilies. To me, this really drives home that even though I sized my model to have the same size base as the Forge World model, that my model is taller and thus a greater volume than the Ramilies. Prompting me in turn to consider it a different design, only partly related to the Ramilies.
I will be using both in my 40k RP campaign.
