Tier 2 mini commission for of her beautiful characters Starbright (smol gal) and Candy Pop (tol gal)! I initially didn't really know what to do with the commission until Moon mentioned the two were getting married, so I thought a pic of Candy proposing would be super cute. <:I'm starting to consider just posting the Mini-commissions separately like this instead of one big super-post like I always do? We'll see! o3o

I sure hope neither of them has 'Gamophobia', because, if I'm not mistaken, dragons mate for life. One cannot have a fear of marriage and still expect to function adequately, entering into a lifelong relationship of commitment. That aside, they seem to be eager to commit to one another and will probably have a reasonably sustained and lasting connubial relationship.
I've always thought that aside from the obviousness of 'love' for one another, that mutual respect is also essential in sustaining a lasting relationship.

If either one of them were afraid or didn't want to get married this picture wouldn't exist in the first place. Respect isn't the only thing a relationship sourly needs: communication is just as important. As far as I know, both gals have already discussed marriage and have come to the mutual decision that they wanted to get married to each other. The surprise here isn't that Candy proposed at all. If anything the surprise is either how she proposed, or perhaps when.
