Just another day at the dentist for the Austrian Death Machine (or he's just been watching that naff 2012 T.R. reboot).
A fitting tribute to the movie, my good sir. It would look good on a T-shirt.

Cool, lots of great stuff to play with. Total Recall is one of my favorite movies, I could watch that sucker back to back

I can't remember what is happening in this scene any more, but seeing your picture, I instantly realized it was Arnold in Total Recall. Brilliant piece, man.
Is that remake worth seeing? I mean, the original isn't really worth seeing, but it seems like everything they take another try at winds up sucking even more these days.

I believe that this drawing is of the scene where Rekall tries to mess with his mind.

Was that THE bad guy, or merely "a" bad guy? The movie is just a blur to me now. The thing I remember best is the friend I was with saying, "What? Their eyes were about to explode out of their heads! There's no way they won't at least need some Visine after that!"

Thanks Lon! Man, you gotta see it again. It's pretty dang great. It's so over the top and energetic. The remake was a pale imitation. Kinda like the remake of Robocop. Some good ideas in there, but not even close to as weird, funny, and crazy as the original.

This comment makes me think of Peter Jackson's debut "Dead Alive."
I used to know this guy who ran a second-run movie theater in Minnesota (I only remember the wife and I called him "Nate"). One of the coolest nerds I ever met (I'm a nerd too). He did these special Halloween events (where I won the DVD of "Evil Dead," by the way), where you paid $2 for about 6 hours of vintage horror films amongst a group of people who were trying to win his annual costume contest. It was a special sort of night, and it drew one of the best crowds ever. One year he showed "Dead Alive," and all I can say is, man, if you haven't seen it, do. Because before Peter Jackson changed "The Hobbit" into "Bilbo Baggins: Ninja Dragon Slayer III" for the Hollywood Machine (and I don't even have to mention "The Lovely Bones"), he was a young New Zealander with passion and excitement and vision too.

Dude. I think I know what you are talking about. I mean I think I went to one of these guys' shows. It might have been '99 or '2000 Halloween party. I went to see Evil Dead 2. Crazy Halloween party. Could we have been at the same thing??? I'm from MN originally. Weird. I think I can picture that Nate guy. I think I might have met him. All energies flow according to the whims of the great magnet. Man. Dead Alive. That movie is a trip. So is 'Bad Taste' which MIGHT have preceded it. I'll have to do an IMDB search. Peter Jackson was a genius for sure. His 'Meet the Feebles' continues to be one of the most insane flicks I've ever seen. Makes me think there's hope for us all. I mean ANYONE can become a blow up success given the right set of circumstances. Well, that's a longer conversation. Ha!

You're from Minnesota too? Holy coincidence!
I believe that theater was in Maplewood, near the intersection of White Bear Avenue and Minnehaha.
During the four years that I lived in that neighborhood, I think I saw every movie he ever showed.
Peter Jackson was probably going to get discovered; being that high energy tends to create its own opportunities.

haha! Excellent. It must have been a different place then. I think the one I went to was downtwon Mpls. They had an old movie organ and everything. Yep, born in Albert Lea, lived in surrounding areas of Mpls until I couldn't take the arctic anymore and drove down to Georgia for college.
Peter Jackson: Brain eating zombies and puppets humping each other to Academy Award Winning Director. Not a bad trajectory!
