well rope is used like line what connects floor and wall , begins from dors. try to look harder in piece u will find real room in it. if u revert pasted rope into farest point instead of nearest ,,,,,, that is whole catch in painting!, ,,,, bit conceptual ,about ----------i do not care about material ,but what is nearest to peace in momment!

My (probably self-indulgent) personal reading of HARDROOM - between a rock and a hard place? When the ground comes up and hits hard, it's time to retreat to that corner of the mind where one can disconnect... or to put it another way, to slip softly into dreams and soothing metaphors... an internal 'home' ...
I love this - the rusty colours, the feeling of depth in the room and the feeling that it could hurt to be in there, contrasting with the warmth of the colours... it also makes me imagine that its fabric might be made from torn memories...

Like the others I like the description and the painting. But I'd like to take this one to a more personal level. Making it the path home after a long and unsteady journey. When you're home, you know where you are and where everything is around you, no matter what condition you're in.
