December 12, 2011 update:
In preparation for a re-boot of Vader's Penance, I have removed the watermark. Feel free to download! Enjoy.

After Tanisha Twi'lek On Stage [link] , Vader's Penance was the most difficult deviation I had made. (That was until Darth Sock Monkey came along to torture me [link] )

I created 3 different versions, but this was basically the first version. I guess this was not enough torture. I'm getting ready to start a 4th version. What can I say? I'm Sith. We love to be in pain.

The idea came to me when I saw the awesome premade background, Premade BG Longing - man, by at [link]

I showed my first rough draft to a couple friends. I'd never created a "fantasy" work before, and they could only see it as Vader in a museum. Oops.

After many days of creating different versions, I decided to go with the original idea, because it rang true to me. I HAD to make this. (I know most artists have had that same feeling, yes?)

In addition to 's premade background, I also used the very pretty Pre-made Background 002 by at [link]

The body's were #Co7, from sensual emotion - couple stock, by at [link]
When I favorite'd them a long time ago, I saw Vader's head on the guy. I just couldn't see how to use him with a girl.
I guess cuz I've never done a "romantic--oh how sweet" deviation before.

In the beginning, I left Padme dressed like the girl you'll see 's stock, but I wasn't sure if the world is ready to see a sexy Padme or not?

So I re-dressed her in 's beautiful Victorian dress CUTOUT at [link]

I changed the top of the dress and created a choker made from 's lance white 1 at [link]

Padme's hairband was created using 's #17 from from her PNG BAZAAR 9 at [link]

Besides the many alterations I made to the cape (all mistakes are mine), I added a chain using RTU jewelry 2_quaddles by from her Transparent ready to use gallery at [link]

Vader's gloves, and the little Vader are from my "stock" at [link]

Besides hours of drawing and coloring, I think that sums up all the pieces of this deviation. If I've forgotten to credit a Deviant's stock, please let me know!
